Hiya! And welcome to Away We Geek! We’re Alison and Jason, a geeky couple who both love to travel. And we are beyond excited to share our experiences with you as we wander the world, one geeky adventure at a time.

Full disclosure: When we say geeky, we mean it. We are total geeks. Obsessing over a movie/TV show, spending hours on a new hobby, or planning hypothetical future travels down to where and when we’ll eat lunch – when we get interested in something, we go all in, spending way more time and energy on it than a so-called “normal” person might.

But what is normal, really? Aren’t we all geeks about something?

We’re still getting everything set up over here, but check back for updates! We’ll be talking about our favorite geeky adventures abroad, and sharing the travel tips and tricks we use along the way.

In addition to wandering the world, we also spend a lot of time exploring our current hometown of Los Angeles, which is basically geek heaven. We’ll share those adventures too.
